What is an industry challenge?
It is a mix of hackaton and a startup competition running for 12 months. You have to deliver an MVP in 6 months. The top 10 will be nominated to round 2. You should develop a version 2.0 of your product and present an impressive traction for the second half. A panel of industry experts and investors will select the winner. The winner will receive 5000 EUR.
Why should I participate?
Industry partners know the market well including key unsolved problems and related market research data. Addressing the wrong problem is the number one cause of startup failure.
Some industry partners (like Schneider Electric) give a controlled access to their lab facilities and academic contacts for product modelling and testing.
Anybody reaching stage 2 will attract a wide range of private investors in the CE region (including Germany).
